Private replies aren’t live yet
We plan to support one-time private replies within Meta’s 7-day comment-response window, once pages_messaging is part of our approved Meta permissions. Until then, ROAS Shield surfaces buyer-intent comments for you to reply to publicly or follow up manually.
Linked Pages required
Instagram Business accounts must be linked to a Facebook Page that you manage. We help you confirm the link is configured before you turn protection on.
No unsolicited DMs, ever
When private replies ship, we will not send unsolicited Instagram DMs. They will only ever happen in response to a public comment, inside Meta’s allowed window.
What we never do
- Auto-delete comments without explicit per-rule opt-in and a high confidence threshold
- Post on your behalf without a connected, approved reply rule
- Send unsolicited DMs to Instagram users
- Use unofficial APIs, scraping, or browser automation against Instagram
