How is this different from a generic comment moderator?

Generic moderators treat every comment the same, whether it sits on an organic post or a paid ad. ROAS Shield is ad-first: it maps each comment back to the ad, ad set, and campaign it came from, so you can see which creative is attracting spam and which is attracting buyers. That campaign-level intelligence, plus volume-based pricing, is the wedge.

Which platforms do you support?

Facebook and Instagram ad comments, through the official Meta Graph API (v24.0). We do not support TikTok, LinkedIn, or YouTube in v1, and we never scrape or use unofficial APIs — that would put your Meta account at risk and disqualify us from Meta App Review.

How does auto-hide work?

You define moderation rules — for example, hide comments matching a spam pattern or a competitor mention. When a new comment arrives, we run a deterministic decision first (self-comment filter, allow-lists, your rules), then an AI classifier where needed. Matching comments are hidden through the Graph API. Auto-delete is deliberately locked down: it is schema-blocked unless you explicitly opt in, requires very high confidence, and any buyer-intent signal demotes a delete to a hide.

Will you hide comments from real customers asking to buy?

Accepted Answer

No. Buyer-intent is a first-class signal that vetoes destructive actions. If a comment looks like someone asking about price, availability, or how to order, it is protected from auto-hide and auto-delete and routed to you to convert instead.

How do AI replies work, and are they safe?

Accepted Answer

AI replies are draft-only by default. Nothing is sent on your behalf until you turn auto-send on for a workspace, and even then only when the model is highly confident, the comment needs no human review, and no risk flags are present. Regulated industries — alcohol, gambling, finance, health, CBD, and pharma — are forced to draft-only regardless of settings.

How do you convert buyer-intent comments into sales?

When a comment shows buyer intent, ROAS Shield drafts a reply and, where it is allowed, a private reply (a one-time DM in response to a comment). You review and send. The goal is to catch the moment of intent on a paid ad before the prospect cools off, without you watching the comment feed all day.

Pricing is volume-based, not per-seat: Starter is £19/mo for 10,000 comments, Growth £49/mo for 50,000, Agency £99/mo for 150,000, and Scale £199/mo for up to 500,000 comments per month. Add as many teammates as you like without changing your bill.

Yes — every plan starts with a 7-day free trial and no credit card is required to start. You only add billing details when you decide to continue after the trial.

Do AI classifications and replies cost extra?

Accepted Answer

AI usage is metered separately from your comment cap and runs against a per-workspace AI spend cap (defaults range from $20 on Starter to $200 on Scale). Spend caps are enforced synchronously before each AI call, with a per-call ceiling, so a runaway prompt can never blow your budget.

How do you handle my data, and can I delete it?

Your Meta access tokens are encrypted at rest and never reach the browser. You can delete your data at any time — either by removing ROAS Shield from your Meta account settings, which triggers a deletion callback, or by emailing us. We complete deletion within 30 days. Are you approved by Meta yet?

We build for Meta App Review from day one and run in a mock Meta mode during development. Live access to real Pages and Instagram accounts switches on only after our app passes Meta App Review for the permissions we request. We will be upfront about our review status as it changes.
