Side-by-side
An honest comparison
with Hootsuite.
We respect Hootsuite. Here is how ROAS Shield is different for paid Meta ad-comment moderation — and where Hootsuite is still the better fit.
Feature comparison
ROAS Shield vs Hootsuite
Sourced from hootsuite.com/platform/social-media-inbox and hootsuite.com/plans as of June 2026, plus our own product. Hootsuite prices per seat (per user/mo); exact per-user figures vary across third-party sources, so we do not publish a Hootsuite price here.

Where they win
Where Hootsuite is the better fit
We are not the right tool for everyone. If any of the below applies to your team, Hootsuite might serve you better than we will.
Multi-network breadth far beyond Meta
Hootsuite manages Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, and WhatsApp from one place. If you need to moderate and engage across many networks rather than just paid Meta, it covers far more ground than we do — we are Meta-ads-only in v1.
Full publishing, scheduling, and analytics suite
Hootsuite bundles content scheduling, a content calendar, bulk publishing, analytics, and social listening alongside the inbox. If you want one tool for your entire social workflow — not just ad-comment moderation — it does far more than we do.
Mature, established platform with a large ecosystem
Hootsuite is a long-established suite with an app directory of integrations, a large support organisation, and broad adoption. We are a newer, ads-focused entrant building that track record over time.
Our wedge
Where we believe ROAS Shield wins
Ad-first by design
Every comment in the inbox shows campaign, ad set, and ad context. You can filter by campaign, see which ads attract spam, and tune rules per-ad. Generic comment moderators do not foreground which ad a comment is on.
Volume pricing for paid-ads teams
Our Scale tier is £199 per month for up to 500,000 comments. Predictable, volume-based pricing for high-spend advertisers — not per-seat.
Honest UI on the rough edges
When we cannot map a comment back to its ad, we say so and surface a manual-mapping action — including an inverse creative lookup. We do not paper over Meta API gaps with confident-looking UI.
